I am a Full Stack Developer for Running Tide, a startup which aims to promote ocean health & combat climate change via carbon sequestration and alkalinity enhancement. Here I have been privileged to work with a group of incredibly talented and thoughtful people, and with their support I have grown immensely & learned a great deal over the past couple years. Before RT, I studied at Tufts University, double majoring in Computer Science and Community Health before continuing on in 2020/2021 for a CS Masters.
I was raised in Berkeley, CA, where I was lucky enough to have two incredibly caring and hardworking parents as inspiration and an older sister who looked out for me and did her best to help me learn from her experiences. Growing up, I developed a love for nature and the outdoors that I have circled back to in recent years. In my free time I also enjoy cooking, reading, and playing sports with my friends when Boston weather allows for it.
In school, I played and captained for our frisbee team, the Emen, helping to lead the team back to D-I Nationals in 2019 (our first appearance in 5 years). The mindset of growth, goal setting, and the grind that was reinforced in my time playing and frequently rehabbing from injury for months on end is something that I aim to apply to my goals and ambitions outside of sports.
